Philanthropy at The York School helps provide exceptional experiences for our students and empowers our teachers to be innovative and inspiring in bringing learning to life inside and outside the classroom.

We encourage all families to participate in The York School Annual Fund which supports program enhancements not covered through tuition fees. As at virtually all independent schools, tuition covers only salaries and operating costs. This past year, the Annual Fund supported equipment purchases for classrooms, athletics, libraries, and music programs; professional development for teachers that make them even more outstanding educators; student participation in inter-collegial events; tuition assistance bursaries; and more.

We are grateful for the generosity of our school community which allows us to continually innovate and provide unique learning opportunities for both current and future students.
