May 2024

  • Read the Family Handbook 

  • Wednesday, May 1, 4:00pm - 7:00pm - Middle & Senior School New Family Welcome Event

  • Friday, May 24 latest - Submit student medical forms on YorkNet (video outlining how to fill in the form can be found here)

June 2024

  • Sign in to YorkNet and explore the dashboard

  • Order or purchase student laptop (Click here for ordering details)

  • Friday, June 14 - Review our Uniform Guide and place your order with https://topmarksorders.ca/ by this date to ensure free shipping and on-time delivery. The school code to shop online is YOR01. 

July 2024

  • Thursday, July 18 latest - Bring in laptop to 1320 Yonge to be prepared by IT staff no later than Thursday, July 18 (Grades 9-12)

  • Friday, July 26 latest - Order textbooks from the Alpha Textbooks (Grades 6-12) - See the Technology & Textbook section for details.

August 2024

  • Complete all YorkNet forms online

  • Check and update your family information on YorkNet

  • Week of August 26 - Check your email for an alert from the Principal about accessing your child’s timetable from YorkNet

September 2024

  • Tuesday, September 3 - Grade 9 Student Orientation Morning (all new students to arrive at 9:00am and all returning students to arrive at 9:30am) & Departure for Camp Timberlane (10:30am)

    • Arrive in casual clothes with luggage for camp

    • Students meet their Grade Partners and Homeroom Teacher, get an introduction to the ICE Program, prep for camp, and tour the school

  • Tuesday, September 3 - Grade 10 & 11 New Student Laptop Orientation

    • Bring laptop and charger with laptop charged for 10:00am

  • Tuesday, September 3 - Grade 12 Students leave for Camp Timberlane at 8:00am

  • Wednesday, September 4 - Grade 10 & 11 Students leave for Camp Timberlane at 8:00am

  • Friday, September 6 - Grade 9 - 12 Students return to school from Camp Timberlane by 4:00pm

  • Monday, September 9 - Classes Begin

    • Grade 9 Laptop Orientation at 8:00am for new students only

    • Students start class at 8:55am (Homeroom)

    • Bring laptop fully charged

    • Register for clubs at school

    • Register for Athletic Teams

  • Thursday, September 26 - Middle and Senior School Curriculum Night
