York Parent Ambassador Program
The York School's Parent Ambassador Program was created by The York Parents’ Association and the Enrolment Team to support a smooth transition for new families joining our community. A familiar face and someone to go to with questions can make all the difference for a new family!
In late May, our Parent Ambassadors will reach out to incoming families with children entering the same grade or division and will act as the main point of contact from the parent community over the summer and into the school year - answering questions, connecting them to any resources as needed, and sharing experiences.
In addition to supporting the onboarding and integration of new families into our community, Parent Ambassadors also participate in admission events (e.g. Open Houses, Meet the Parents) and are available to connect with prospective families who would like to speak with a York School parent during the research and application process.
