April 2025

  • Thursday, April 10, 5:30pm - 7:00pm - Middle & Senior School New Family Welcome Event

  • Wednesday, April 23, 3:45pm - 5:00pm - Grade 7 students interested in the Reach Ahead math course are required to complete a placement test on this date.

  • Friday, April 25 latest - (New Grade 7-8 only) Submit course elective option via YorkNet.

May 2025

  • Read the Family Handbook 

  • Friday, May 23 latest - Submit student medical forms on YorkNet (video outlining how to fill in the form can be found here)

June 2025

  • Sign in to YorkNet and explore the dashboard

  • Friday, June 13 - Review our Uniform Guide and place your order with Top Marks by this date to ensure free shipping and on-time delivery. The school code to shop online is YOR01.

July 2025

  • Friday, July 25 latest - Order textbooks from the Alpha Textbooks (Grades 6-12) - See the Technology & Textbook section for details

  • Stationery Supplies

    • Stationery supplies will be provided to Grade 6 students for the 2025 - 2026 school year. 

    • Grade 7 and 8 students will purchase stationery supplies for the new school year. The list of stationery supplies for students entering Grades 7 and 8 for 2025 - 2026 will be posted on YorkNet along with their report cards the week of June 23. This list will also be shared with New Middle School families in YorkNet.

August 2025

  • Complete all YorkNet forms online

  • Check and update your family information on YorkNet

  • Week of August 25 - Check your email the week of August 25, 2025, for an alert from the Principal about accessing your child’s timetable from YorkNet.

September 2025

  • Tuesday, September 2 - New Student Orientation Morning (details to follow in August Flash communication). Incoming Grade 6 students (new and from the Junior School), and incoming new Grade 7 and 8 students are invited to attend this orientation session.

  • Tuesday, September 2 - 12:40pm - First Day of School!

  • Friday, September 5

    • Grade 6 & 7 “Take Home” Chromebook in-class launch (end of the first week of classes)

    • Register for clubs at school

    • Register for Gladiators Athletic Development Program (GADP) via YorkNet 

    • Register for Athletics at school

  • Thursday, September 25 - MYP Curriculum Night (Grades 6 - 10)
